Are drinks included?

The Tasting Room experience does not include alcoholic beverages, but future tastings may feature pairings with wine and cocktails.

What ages is this event for?

All ages are welcome for the seated tasting. Some flavors and techniques may appeal more to mature palates, and the experience is slower-paced than our usual ice cream service, so we suggest ages 15+ as a guideline.

Is there parking?

Yes! There’s free street parking, plus a 2-hour free lot in Rozzie Square.

Is sweeties nut-free?

Yes, we are 100% nut-free. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions ahead of time so we can do our best to accommodate.

Can I tip my server?

Behind many of Sweeties’ most beloved flavors is Chef Mercedes Mendiola, whose passion for creativity turns simple ingredients into unforgettable experiences.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University with degrees in Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage Entrepreneurship, Mercedes has built her career exploring the art of flavor. In addition to serving as sweeties’ in-house culinary lead, she is also head pastry chef at the acclaimed New Rivers in Providence.

For Mercedes, every dessert is an invitation to taste something familiar yet entirely new. Her inventive spirit and dedication to the craft shine through in every Sweeties creation.
